If you’re after a solid, good-looking chair without the premium price tag, I’ve got just the thing.
I call it the Toa Cape Chair — it’s my budget-friendly alternative to the Peter & Son Cape Cod. Still built strong, still made to last, just a simpler design that keeps things affordable for you.
I use pine with a slatted seat and angled back for relaxed lounging. The seat’s low and wide (500mm across), and the arms sit at 635mm — perfect for kicking back with a drink. I bolt everything together with galvanised fixings, and I rounded the edges so it’s comfortable from the first sit.
Right now, stain isn’t available on this model — but if you’ve got something in mind, just let me know. I’m always open to special requests.
Simple. Sturdy. Kiwi-made.
If you want something honest, well-built, and ready for backyard moments, this chair’s got your name on it.
